Turmeric Milk

Turmeric Milk serves: 2 servings (about 1 1/4 cups or 300 ml per serving)

This drink is comforting, delicious, and filled with powerful antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups (600 ml) fortified nondairy milk of choice (almond, hemp, rice, etc.)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric or 1-in (2 1/2-cm) piece fresh turmeric, peeled
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger or 1/4-in piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom (optional)
  • 4 tsp maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Read through recipe and put all ingredients in your work area before starting your prep.
  2. Blend all ingredients until creamy and smooth. Serve over ice or warmed in a small pot over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Notes:

Storage tip: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 6 days.
