Carrot Ginger Aid Juice
Serves 2 (8-12 fluid ounces or 240-360 ml per serving) | Prep time: 10 minutes | Juicing time: 5 minutes | Total time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 romaine lettuce leaves
- 2 carrots
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 Granny Smith apple, cored and seeded
- 1-inch (2 1/2-cm) piece fresh ginger, peeled
Instructions:
- Wash and prep all ingredients.
- Juice all ingredients. Enjoy 1 serving now and store the other for later (see below for storage), or share with a friend. Serve over ice if desired.
Notes:
Storage tip: Fresh juices should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consumed within 24 hours. If you aren’t able to enjoy your juice within 24 hours, it can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month (be sure to leave a little space at the top for expansion once frozen.
