Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Smoothie
Serves 1 (16–20 fl oz or 480–600 ml) | Prep time: 10 minutes | Blend time: 1 minute or less | Total time: 11 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (20 g) tightly packed fresh spinach
- 1 cup (240 ml) fortified unsweetened nondairy milk of choice (almond, hemp, rice, etc.)
- 1/4 cup (20 g) dry rolled oats
- 1 banana, frozen
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 2 Tbsp raisins
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Read through recipe and put all ingredients in your work area before starting your prep.
- Wash and prep all ingredients.
- In a blender, add ingredients in the order listed. Blend and serve.
Notes:
Storage tip: This smoothie can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight glass bottle for 1 day. Shake well before drinking.
Make it nut-free: Use sunflower seed butter instead of almond butter.
