Tropical Matcha Omega Smoothie Bowl
Serves 1 (about 2 cups or 480 ml per serving) | Prep time: 15 minutes
Smoothie bowl:
1/2 Hass avocado, pitted and peeled
1/2 kiwi, peeled
1 cup (150 g) frozen cubed mango
1 cup (30 g) loosely packed fresh spinach
1 tsp matcha green tea powder
2/3 cup (160 ml) fortified nondairy milk of choice (almond, hemp, rice, etc.)
Toppings:
1/2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp hemp seeds
1 Tbsp cacao nibs or semisweet nondairy chocolate chips
1 Tbsp flaked or shredded unsweetened coconut
Storage tip: Smoothie bowl without toppings can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours. Store toppings separately at room temperature.
Make it nut-free: Substitute raw, shelled sunflower seeds for the walnuts.
